Creative Crossfades

The Zendrum itself (recent models) and many sound modules support "Crossfade" - the ability to access a different sound at different velocities. This means if you hit lightly, you get sound "A". Hit medium, get sound "B". Hit hard... You get the idea. The most common use is to layer the same drum actually sampled or modified to sound the way the drum sounds when hit harder - longer delay, more "crack" in the sound and so on. However, crossfades need not be so vanilla. Here are some example of multi-timbral cross fades.
