1) Cymbal choke
A real choke does NOT totally stop the sound. There's a muffled ringing after
a decayed stop, so setting a note to OFF will not do. You need a choke? Sample
instead.
2) Roll
Impossible to press roll a Zendrum. But you can sample a long sustain roll,
and have another trigger shut it off (using an open/closed hi hat arrangement).
Do NOT use your snare to be the 'off' trigger for a snare roll. Leave that
free to be able to put fancy corps-style accents into the roll.
3) Flam
Its just not the same. Hit a trigger twice, make two triggers for the same
sound... Doesn't quite cut it. Sample it instead.
4) Drag
See flam and roll.
5) Dropping a stick
